dc.description.abstract	The article examines the processes of formation and re-qualification of the administrative center on the example of House of Soviets in Almaty. Aspects of architectural transformation in the context of evolution of the Soviet power and its direct ideological influence on creation of architectural appearance of the city are defined and analyzed. The problem of modern perception of the former administrative center of the Almaty city in the conditions of “national state style” formation is considered.	en_US
