Abstract

This communication is based on Technical Drawing Book belonging to the Department of drawing and descriptive geometry of Iasi Polytechnic Institute, led by Professor Alexandru Matei, edited in 1963 and on which future engineer students used to study. At the time, as students in Mathematics Faculty in Iasi, myself and my colleague Stefan Andrei were asked to review the former calculations for the geometric forms presented in the book. 50 years later, we decided to re edit the first part of the paper to which we added new data and for the 2nd part we did only constructions with a 2 edges ruler and we got to make geometric forms one can use on their own PC, additional data which can be useful to those who study technical drawing in University or vocational schools.
