dc.description.abstract | Is located at the head of Ciocăneşti Valley, the former Falciu county, currently Vaslui county, Bursuci hermitage dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul was build by Gabriel Costachi, the governer of the Lower Lands, before 6 May 1682, when he was dedicated to the Esfigmenu monastery . On 20 August 1806, Floresti monastery and the smaller monasteries administrated by it, Bursuci, Gologofta - Ivănesti and Harsova hermitages are dedicated "to the holy chinovion of Esfigmenu monastery from Mount Athos", 1806, as shown in the charter of worship from 2 Octomber 1814. Starting with the measures initiated by the ruler Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Bursuci hermitage will be abolished, its place being taken by a parish church. In 1932 the former hermitage church was destroyed by slipping land. 10-15 meters from the old one, a new parish church was build. | en_US |
