Abstract:
In the development of the ecological development system a special role belongs to biodiversity, which ensures the optimal functionality of the ecosystems. However, the issue of biodiversity conservation at the level of ecosystems, species, populations and genes has become more and more acute since the human impact on the biosphere has increased. In this context, maintaining biodiversity is necessary to preserve local, regional and global ecological balance to ensure the regeneration of biological resources and the continued maintenance of the quality of the environment for society. The paper presents the results of the studies of biodiversity status in the territory of a district and some aspects of the measures necessary for the preservation of insitu and ex-situ biodiversity.
