dc.description.abstract | The paper briefly describes the bending between Climate Change and Road Infrastructure Safety. This bending is executed by solutions and methods used for traffic calming in combination with Sustainable Drainage Systems. As an example is taken a Middelfart city from Denmark, where the Sustainable Drainage Systems is executed at the city level, and the effectiveness is demonstrated in practice for few years and as result, Middelfart is the greenest city in Denmark. Also, the Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUD) solutions play an important role in traffic calming in the city for streets, plazas, and pedestrian areas. The Middelfart Municipality implemented traffic calming solutions by two instruments: visual and physical, which are described in this paper. The paper aims to propose such solutions in the Republic of Moldova, considering this type of problem in this field due to climate change. | en_US |
