dc.description.abstract The scope of the project: The main purpose of this work is to modernize the road infrastructure. Replacing the old structure by repairing the degraded road system with a new, modern and flexible structure. Elaborating and justifying the repair and modernization processes of the road surface for the regional road L633, which is the access road to the village of Carbalia located in the Vulcăneşti district in the south of the Republic of Moldova, on a sector covering 0.640 km. To correct these problems, this project proposes some modern engineering and safe solutions. A new asphalt concrete road system will be built, which will be able to handle a traffic of 500-1000 vehicles per day at a speed of 60 km/h. The road system is designed and built in such a way that it will not allow water to be captured on the road surface, with the help of a transverse slope of 20%0 and of course the installation of new curbs, helping to stop the rapid degradation of the road foundation. We aim to completely modernize the elements of organizing and managing road safety for both drivers and pedestrians, sidewalks, metal safety railings, guide poles, new signs and road markings will be installed. en_US
