Abstract

The monograph PRECESSIONAL TRANSMISSIONS consists of three volumes and is structured into 12 chapters with distinct contents, which as a whole refect the development of precessional transmissions from idea to implementation. Volume 1 - Precessional transmissions: Synthesis, Kinematics and Calculation Elements - includes chapters 1 6, devoted to the structural and kinematic synthesis studies of precessional transmissions of the K H V, 2K H and combined types, the development of the fundamental theory of the multiple pair gear with spherospatial interaction of conjugated teeth, the experimental research on physical models of their functional characteristics, followed by the iden cation of the criteria of the operating capacity and the calculation methods at resistance of gears with bolts and the toothed ones with convex-concave, convex-rectilinear and concave-concave contact. This monograph, by the way of approaching the problems, represents an interface of the academic textbook and of the research-design guideline, comprising all the stages of product development: from idea - to theoretical and experimental research; from design - to manufacture and implementation. The work is addressed to researchers in the eld of exact sciences, engineers-machine builders, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degree students in higher technical education, especially to all those concerned with the research of mechanical trans-missions, as well as all those interested in innovative activity.
