Revoluția tehnologică și provocările bioetice ale îmbunătățirii umane: între Homo Sapiens și Homo Evolutis

Abstract

The article addresses the technological revolution and the main bioethical issues arising from it, with particular attention to the perspective of so -called human enhancement, transitioning from Homo Sapiens to Homo Evolutis. Without claiming exhaustiveness, we will attempt to identify the main philosophical challenges posed by the emerging sciences of the 21st century, especially regarding convergent technologies or NBIC (nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, and cognitive sciences). Additionally, we will enumerate some of the bioethical dilemmas that every researcher should consider before applying any new technology to humans in the coming decades.

Articolul abordează revoluția tehnologică și principalele probleme bioetice care decurg din axeasta, cu o atenție deosebită asupra perspectivei așa-numitei îmbunătățiri umane, prin trecerea de la Homo Sapiens la Homo Evolutis. Fără a pretinde exhaustivitatea, vom încerca să identificăm principalele provocă ri filosofice aduse de științele emergente ale secolului XXI, în special în ceea ce privește tehnologiile convergente sau NBIC (nanotehnologie, biotehnologie, informatică și științe cognitive). În plus,, vom enumera câteva dintre dilemele bioetice pe care fiecare cercetător ar trebui să le ia în considerare înainte de a aplica orice nouă tehnologie asupra oamenilor în deceniile viitoare.
