dc.description.abstract Afforestation is part of a National program to increase the area covered with forest vegetation and application of integrated measures to combat drought, desertification and degradation through erosion trains. Before afforestation of degraded land must reinforcer the land by used biodegradable geogrids. Biodegradable geogrids are open flat structure, made by biodegradable polymer. The structure is resistant to traction and can be made by extrusion, bonding or punched. The openings are larger than the components, of 1 to 10 cm, in order to allow the penetration of the materials with which they come into contact. en_US
