Abstract

The given article presents the current situation in Moldovan light industry with the focus on the role this industry plays in the national economic development, in terms of export inclusive. The author draws particular attention to the evolution of the local light industry, showing the current trends as well as those quantitative and qualitative changes that have taken place in recent years and how they influenced the industry development. The given article focuses on the importance of implementation of new models of cooperation between companies. It is cluster that will enable the local companies to get skills and knowledge required. The paper presents the possible model for creating the premier cluster in Moldovan light industry.
