dc.description.abstract	The quality of a product is influenced by both the materials and the technologies used to obtain it. This paper presents different technologies and equipment for making hard-cover for books. Their technical characteristics are identified and comparatively analyzed. Also the production flows specific to each technology for making covers and books are high-lighted. In order to create products as close as possible to perfection, a set of recommenda-tions (as a result of this analysis) has been developed for the purchase of finishing equip-ment needed in professional bookbinding factory.	en_US
