Vine culture in the Republic of Moldova at the beginning of the third millennium

Abstract

The article presents a review of the stages of development of the wine sector in the Republic of Moldova after the proclamation of independence. The objective and subjective conditions that have had an impact on the development of viticulture in Moldova, the transformations that have led to the mitigation of this impact, are elucidated. Particular attention is paid to the mapping of wine-growing areas in the Republic of Moldova, as well as to the global situation.

În articol este prezentată o trecere în revistă a etapelor de dezvoltare a ramurii vitivinicole din Republica Moldova după proclamarea independenţei. Sunt elucidate condiţiile obiective și subiective, care au avut impact asupra dezvoltării viticulturii în Moldova, transformările care au condus la diminuarea acestui impact. O atenţie deosebită este acordată cartografierii arealelor vitivinicole din Republica Moldova, precum și situaţiei la nivel global.
