Propuneri privind valorificarea potențialului pădurilor urbane în Municipiul Chișinău

Abstract

PROBLEMATICA STUDIULUI: Potrivit autorităților municipale, în ultimele decenii, Municipiul Chișinău a pierdut multe hectare de spații verzi prin defrișări, construcții haotice în zonele verzi, gestionarea inadecvată cu lipsa unei viziuni strategice de extindere a spațiilor verzi.

Primăria Municipiului Chișinău prevede prin documentul “Chișinău − Oraș Verde − Planificare Strategică” crearea infrastructurii verzi-albastre rezistente la schimbări climatice cu un accent asupra îmbunătățirii calităţii vieții tuturor cetățenilor. Din punctul nostru de vedere anume integrarea pădurilor urbane în gestionarea spaţiilor verzi ar facilita crearea infrastructurii verzi-albastre în Municipiul Chișinău. Dar, ce sunt pădurile urbane și care este importanţa lor pentru dezvoltarea orașelor verzi? SCOPUL TEZEI DE MASTER: este de a scoate în evidenţă valoarea pădurilor urbane pentru Municipiul Chișinău. OBIECTIVELE LUCRĂRII: analiza importanței pădurilor urbane; investigarea legislației privind pădurile urbane; studierea principiilor, modelelor, și tehnologiilor de funcționare a pădurilor urbane; căutarea soluțiilor privind valorificarea potențialului pădurilor urbane pentru Municipiul Chișinău. METODELE APLICATE LA REALIZAREA CERCETĂRII: analiză literaturii disponibile, a cercetărilor și a publicațiilor academice relevante pentru subiectul luat în cercetare; observarea; compararea; intuiția; metoda analitică; deducția și inducția.

REZULTATELE CONCRETE OBȚINUTE: s-a scos în evidentă importanța pădurilor urbane ca un sistem integru de gestionare şi amenajare a spațiilor verzi; s-a investigat legislația cu referire directă sau indirectă la pădurile urbane; s-au studiat principiile, modelele, și tehnologiile de funcționare a pădurilor urbane; s-au propus soluții privind valorificarea potențialului pădurilor urbane pentru Municipiul Chișinău.

THE PROBLEM OF THE STUDY: According to the municipal authorities, in recent decades, the Municipality of Chisinau has lost many hectares of green spaces through deforestation, chaotic constructions in green areas, inadequate management with the lack of a strategic vision for the expansion of green spaces. Therefore, the Mayor of Municipality of Chisinau provides through the document "Chisinau - Green City - Strategic Planning" the creation of green-blue infrastructure resistant to climate change with an emphasis on improving the quality of life of all citizens. From our point of view, the integration of urban forests in the management of green spaces would lead to the creation of green-blue infrastructure in Municipality of Chisinau. But what are urban forests and what is their importance for the development of green cities?

THE PURPOSE OF THE MASTER'S THESIS: is to highlight the value of urban

forests for the Municipality of Chisinau.

OBJECTIVES OF THE THESIS: analysis of the importance of urban forests; investigating urban forest legislation; studying the principles, models, and technologies of the operation of urban forests; the search for solutions regarding the exploitation of the potential of urban forests for the Municipality of Chisinau.

METHODS APPLIED TO PERFORMING THE RESEARCH: analysis of available literature, research and academic publications relevant to the subject taken up in the research; observation; comparison; intuition; analytical method; deduction and induction.

CONCRETE RESULTS OBTAINED: the importance of urban forests as an integral system of management and arrangement of green spaces was highlighted; legislation with direct or indirect reference to urban forests was investigated; the principles, models, and technologies of the operation of urban forests were studied; solutions were proposed regarding the exploitation of the potential of urban forests for the Municipality of Chisinau.
