Abstract

The aim of this article is study directions of development of assortment of threads. During this work was viewed the history of creation and developing of the spinning-thread production and the basic types of threads, including natural or chemical fibers. Were reviewed the most important advantages and disadvantages of threads as well as ways of using this advantages and solving this disadvantages. In order to determine the quality of threads presented a list of requirements for their producers. Reviewed assortment of threads of diferent manufactures and provided recommendations to the way of using different types of threads.
