dc.description.abstract | Fixed PV mounting solutions are still classic implementations for prosumers and green energy communities. However, there are several enhancements which can be implemented in smart communities' areas, by using wisely cheap and effective solutions such as PV with variable positions and possible cooling solutions to enhance efficiency. While such solutions are already used, they need appropriate assessment to balance between affordability and gain in efficiency. The paper presents some aspects towards cost-effective implementations of a variable PV positioning solution and shows impact on PV production versus needed energy for tracking. | en_US |
