Abstract:
In this work, the sensory response of CuO/Cu2O nanostructures coated with zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-71) prepared by low-cost chemical synthesis method in solution is investigated. The process of preparing the studied nanostructures, the study of their response to UV (ultraviolet) and gas, as well as morphological investigations using XRD (X-ray diffraction) and SEM (scanning electron microscopy) of the obtained nanostructures are described. The results of this work describe the sensory response of these nanostructures to UV radiation at room temperature, tested at different operating voltages, and at high temperatures up to 350°C the response to different gases, volatile organic compounds with a concentration of 100 ppm, especially hydrogen which is considered as an environmentally friendly fuel.
