In love with agriculture, specially horticulture and viticulture, a convinced horticulturist since the times of student bench, a talented specialist appreciated by the French, a great struggler for the development of agricultural sciences, a native of baragan valley, director of the old Chisinau school, the father of Romanian horticulture, this remarkable Person - D. Ştefanescu had a bronze bust in the School yard. Not to be forgotten by these lines with the occasion of 130th Anniversary from birth we now honor one of the greatest promoters of our industry.
