Abstract

When drupaceous species do not have weak rootstocks, their cultivation according to the crown shape that allows us reducing growth rate is an important method to intensify the cultivation of plum and cherry trees. The research has shown that the crown shape has a significant influence on the trunk diameter, crown height and diameter. Various species and soil also influence this indicator. As the number of branches grows, crown height decreases, both trunk and tree diameter increase.
