dc.description.abstract Taking into account that the great majority of the plum tree plantations on the republic territory are emplaced on the big slopes, where the soil cultivations o between the lines and on the line is difficult, in the case of the chemical fighting of the plum tree seeds wasp, by agro technical activities the discounted efficiency is not presented. In this case the insecticides application is necessary and justified. Analyzing the presented data in the literature by specialty concerning the warning of the best periods for the insecticides applications we mention that they are contradictory. Some authors depending on the climatic conditions, in spring recommend two treatments: the first in 5-6 days after blossoming when the fruit reaches 1.5 cm or 2.5 cm, the second treatment in 8-10 days after the first. The third group of authors recommends 3 treatments, relying on the action length of the insecticide. Regarding the treatment necessity after the economical limit of damage – PED, it exists also diverse opinions based on the density of at tacked fruits fallen with living larva tree. In order to improve the efficiency of the chemical protection of the plum tree against the plum tree seeds wasp it was studied the action of the synthesis piretroides insecticides. en_US
