Studiul efectelor îngheț-dezghețului și traficului rutier asupra degradării drumurilor

Abstract

Scopul tezei este de a studia efectele combinate ale fenomenului de îngheț-dezgheț și ale traficului rutier asupra degradării drumurilor, cu accent pe identificarea cauzelor fundamentale, evaluarea mecanismelor de deteriorare și propunerea unor soluții tehnice eficiente pentru prevenirea și remedierea acestor fenomene distructive. Obiectivele specifice ale tezei includ: Analiza efectelor fenomenului de îngheț-dezgheț asupra drumurilor, prin identificarea mecanismelor de deteriorare și a zonelor vulnerabile. Studiul regimului termic și al factorilor climatici prin determinarea adâncimii de îngheț și a influenței umidității asupra stabilității drumurilor. Evaluarea impactului traficului rutier, prin investigarea efectelor sarcinilor repetate asupra drumurilor în perioadele de dezgheț. Propunerea unor soluții practice pentru prevenirea degradării drumurilor, inclusiv utilizarea substraturilor termoizolatoare și a materialelor moderne pentru terasamente. Contribuția la dezvoltarea unor ghiduri și metode eficiente pentru monitorizarea, întreținerea și reabilitarea drumurilor afectate de îngheț-dezgheț. Teza de master cuprinde trei capitole. Capitolul 1 reflectă actualitatea temei, subliniind necesitatea studierii efectelor combinate ale fenomenului de îngheț-dezgheț și ale traficului rutier asupra drumurilor. Acest capitol evidențiază condițiile specifice de construcție și exploatare a drumurilor, identificând principalele mecanisme de degradare și relevanța adoptării unor soluții științifice pentru prevenirea acestora. Capitolul 2 se concentrează pe analiza factorilor geo-climatici și a regimului termic din corpul drumurilor, abordând aspecte precum adâncimea de îngheț, propagarea temperaturilor și influența umidității asupra terenurilor de fundație. Totodată, capitolul prezintă metode de calcul și soluții analitice pentru determinarea parametrilor critici care afectează stabilitatea drumurilor. Capitolul 3 propune soluții practice pentru prevenirea și remedierea degradării drumurilor cauzate de îngheț-dezgheț. Sunt detaliate măsuri precum utilizarea substraturilor termoizolatoare, îmbunătățirea condițiilor hidrologice și reducerea gelivității materialelor din terasamente. Capitolul subliniază necesitatea implementării unor tehnologii moderne pentru a spori durabilitatea infrastructurii rutiere. Prin aplicarea măsurilor propuse, lucrarea își propune să contribuie la dezvoltarea unor drumuri mai rezistente în condițiile climatice și de trafic actuale din Republica Moldova.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the combined effects of the freeze-thaw phenomenon and road traffic on pavement degradation, focusing on identifying fundamental causes, evaluating deterioration mechanisms, and proposing efficient technical solutions for preventing and mitigating these destructive phenomena. The specific objectives of the thesis include: Analyzing the effects of the freeze-thaw phenomenon on roads by identifying deterioration mechanisms and vulnerable areas. Studying the thermal regime and climatic factors by determining the depth of frost penetration and the influence of moisture on road stability. Evaluating the impact of road traffic by investigating the effects of repeated loads on roads during thaw periods. Proposing practical solutions for preventing road degradation, including the use of thermal insulation layers and modern materials for embankments. Contributing to the development of efficient guidelines and methods for monitoring, maintaining, and rehabilitating roads affected by the freeze-thaw phenomenon. The master’s thesis comprises three chapters. Chapter 1 reflects the relevance of the topic, emphasizing the need to study the combined effects of the freeze-thaw phenomenon and road traffic on pavement degradation. This chapter highlights the specific conditions for road construction and operation, identifying the main mechanisms of deterioration and the importance of adopting scientific solutions to prevent these issues. Chapter 2 focuses on the analysis of geo-climatic factors and the thermal regime within road structures, addressing aspects such as frost depth, temperature propagation, and the influence of moisture on foundation soils. Additionally, the chapter presents calculation methods and analytical solutions for determining critical parameters that affect road stability. Chapter 3 proposes practical solutions for preventing and mitigating road degradation caused by the freeze-thaw phenomenon. It details measures such as the use of thermal insulation layers, improving hydrological conditions, and reducing soil frost susceptibility. The chapter emphasizes the necessity of implementing modern technologies to enhance the durability of road infrastructure. By applying the proposed measures, this thesis aims to contribute to the development of more resilient roads under current climatic and traffic conditions in the Republic of Moldova.
