Industria textilă a Republicii Moldova: probleme şi oportunităti

Abstract

The given article presents the current situation in Moldovan textile industry with the focus on the role this industry plays in the national economic development, in terms of export inclusive. The author draws particular attention to the evolution of the local textile industry, showing the current trends as well as those quantitative and qualitative changes that have taken place in recent years and how they influenced the industry development. The situation on both local and international markets is under discussion. The level of competitiveness of Moldova textile industry in is presented in much detail, as well as main problems and opportunities. The author highlights the competitive advantages over the currently emerged competitors for Moldovan textile industry, and the ones that could serve as opportunities for growth and further industry development.
