dc.description.abstract Invenția se referă la palele turbinelor eoliene cu ax vertical pentru care sunt propuse soluții în vederea creșterii performanței și reducerii nivelului de zgomot produs în timpul operării. Creșterea eficienței este asigurată de profilul aerodinamic prevăzut cu deschidere în regiunea bordului de fugă. Deschiderile pot fi plasate fie pe interior sau exteriorul profilului cu valori de până la 3/4 din lungimea corzii. Reducerea zgomotului este asigurată de crestăturile dispuse dea lungul bordului de fugă al palei și pot avea formă trapezoidală, triunghiulară, dinți de ferestrău și modificații ale acestora. en_US
dc.description.abstract The invention refers to vertical axis wind turbines’ blades. Specific solutions are proposed for the performance boost and noise reduction. The efficiency enhancement is ensured by the particular modification of the airfoil which is provided with openings at the trailing edge. The openings can be disposed either on the inner or outer side of the airfoil and can take values up to 3/4 of the chord length. The noise reduction is achieved by proving the blade’s trailing edge with notches which can have triangular, trapezoidal or saw like shape. en_US
