dc.description.abstract In the paper is presented an overview on the optical anisotropy of ZnP2, CdCa2S4 crystals manifested by strong gyration effects, birefringence, dichroism, rotation of the polarization plane, etc. These effects can be used to manufacture narrowband "Band-pass" and "Band-Elimenation" filters for optoelectronics and communication systems, optoelectronic devices, which can change the photo current sign depending on light polarization – null indicators of polarized light. en_US
