Design based on performance. The seismic response of a structure using a nonlinear numerical analysis in displacements

Abstract

The principal objective of this investigation is to develop a „Push-over” analysis procedure based on structural dynamics theory. The dynamic response (in time) of a nonlinear system is very difficult to model, therefore, in practice they mainly use „Push-over” static nonlinear calculus methods to determine the structure behaviors. The purpose of the analysis is to evaluate the expected performance of a structural system by estimating its strength and deformation demands in design earthquakes by means of a static inelastic analysis.

Principalul obiectiv al acestei lucrări este de a dezvolta procedura de analiză „Push-over” bazată pe principiile Dinamicii structurilor. Răspunsul în timp al unui sistem neliniar este foarte dificil de modelat, de aceea în practică se foloseşte în principal metoda calculului static neliniar pentru a determina comportarea structurii. Fundamentul analizei neliniare static echivalente tip „Push-over”, în „împingeri progresive”, consistă în stabilirea unei curbe unice „efort-deplasare” pentru a caracteriza răspunsul structurii solicitată monoton crescător. Analiza furnizează o estimare a mecanismelor de plastifiere aşteptate şi a distribuţiei deteriorărilor progresive, în funcţie de intensitatea forţelor şi a deplasărilor laterale.

Le fondement de l’analyse non linéaire statique équivalente on „poussée progressive”, type „Push-over”, consiste à établir une courbe „effort-déplacement” unique pour caractériser le comportement de la structure en la „poussant” de plus en plus fort. Elle fournit une estimation des mécanismes de plastification attendus et de la distribution de l’endommagement progressif, en fonction de l’intensité des forces et des déplacements horizontaux. La pertinence du résultat dépend de la capacité de l’algorithme utilisé à rendre compte de la dégradation de la raideur des éléments de la structure à l’apparition des déformations plastique.

Главная цель данной работы состоит в развитии процедуры анализа типа „Push-over”, основанной на принципах динамики сооружений. Реакцию во времени нелинейной системы очень сложно смоделировать, поэтому, для определе-ния поведения конструкции на практике исполь-зуется, главным образом, метод статического нелинейного расчета. Основой нелинейного анализа является использование статического эквивалентного воздействия типа „Push-over”, т.е. прогрессивного воздействия и установления единой кривой „сила-перемещение” для описания реакции системы при монотонно увеличившейся нагрузки. Aнализ позволяет оценивать формы перехода в пластическую ста-дию и распределения прогрессивных повреждений.
