dc.description.abstract Research and development of traction systems with multiphase motors, including six-phase motors becomes an efficient way to improve the performance of urban electric passenger vehicles. For this purpose, the basic components of the six-phase asynchronous motor traction system are identified and the structural elements of the power circuit of the six-phase voltage inverter are described. Also, the structure and the mathematical model of the quasi six-phase or double star motor are specified. For the same purpose, the inverter structure with two three-phase FOC-PWM control circuits, the FOC-PWM inverter structure with a single six-phase control circuit, the two-channel six-phase DTC-SVM inverter structure and the DTC-SVM inverter structure with a single six-phase control circuit are developed. The results of these activities can be used to model and simulate the six-phase motor control systems and its components, as well as to develop and test the physical models of systems. en_US
