Abstract:
This year, education systems around the world, have been marked by the experience of confrontation with the unexpected and aggressive COVID-19 epidemic and they have demonstrated their vulnerability.Thus, the actors involved, learners (pupils and / or students), teaching staff, parents, representatives: of the administrations of educational institutions, of the academia, and of the structures of line ministries have hardly resisted the challenges of the new educational conjuncture.This article comes with the description of the normative framework (legal and methodological) related to the concept of distance education, the evolution of which is analyzed here.The author reflects on the phenomenon of distance education, presenting the typology of IT solutions, existing today on the market of digital didactical tools, these being exemplified by a set of program products less known to the general public.
