dc.description.abstract We critically discuss the existing phenomenological description of experimental and numerical simulation data on temperature dependence of nanoparticle and nanocluster magnetization in the context of the recently proposed microsopic theory. The latter leads to a qualitatively different form of the temperature dependence, is free of major inconsistencies of the former and reveals a clear connection of the observed behavior to the microscopic physical parameters. en_US
