Abstract:

The paper discusses the problem of dynamic modeling of river-type systems using software packages. iThink, Simulink, Surface-water Modeling System (SMS) are analyzed. The research results are applied to modelling hydrodynamics and pollutants transport on a sector of the river Prut in the Ungheni town.
