Abstract:
The development of energy transport infrastructure is based on innovative solutions and technologies that provide higher indicators of energy efficiency. The purpose of the paper is to present and argue the basic principles regarding the solutions of the development of the new type compact electric lines with higher performance indices, including, controllable self-compensating overhead lines compared to the traditional construction lines, in order to increase the transmission capacity and the regulation of the flow and direction of flow power through the lines of the power system. The examination of the problem is based on the use of differential equations with partial derivatives drawn up for the case of the line with many conductors. It has been shown that compact lines with self-compensation equipped with phase difference adjustment devices and compact lines with a single-circuit have advantages compared to traditional construction lines and can be used both as power transmission lines and in distribution power networks, predominantly, in the compact line variant. The theoretical results are confirmed by the practice of operating the proposed lines in the Moldovan electricity system. The compact and controllable lines can ensure the transmission capacity increase by 1.2-1.6, the reduction of losses per unit of power transmitted at (10-20) %, the reduction of 1.5-2 times the surface of the ground alienated with the reduction of the impact of the electromagnetic field, and reduction of the total losses of power in the power system.
