Studiul utilizării în mixturile asfaltice a criblurii concasate și sortate obținute din balast în Republica Moldova

Abstract

The purpose of this work is the study of the use in the asphalt mixtures of the crushed gravel obtained by ballast sifting. For the Republic of Moldova the use of this aggregate is a very important moment, because the broken stone that is used for asphalt mixtures, in most cases, is imported from the neighboring countries which increases the costs of producing asphalt mixtures. A big problem for the use of this aggregate is the insufficient adhesive of the gravel with bitumen. Because after crushing the gravel granules can remain rounded and contain flint particles.
