dc.description.abstract The aim of this paper is to obtain textile materials with antimicrobial and aromatic properties by application of lavanda, geranium and rosemary essential oils on their surface. The presence of biologically active compound on textile support was confirmed by qualitative odor and smelling tests. The treated samples were characterized by IR spectroscopy. The antimicrobial activity of treated sample was tested against both Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus Aureus ATTC -6538) and Gramnegative bacteria (Escherichia Coli ATTC - 10536). en
