dc.description.abstract As the political transformations and the transitional process is a condition that favors the machiavellianism's manifestation and continuity in politics, the same, the machiavellian behavior serves as a determinant factor of the postponement of the transition's end and the democratical consolidation. In the Moldovan politics, the quote "the end justifies the means" is applied increasingly, becoming the pulse of the political actions and the general rule of the political game. The political man of the transition perceives and applies the quote "the end justifies the means" in terms of personal interests, personal advantages, which are a priority for him, social interest being only an argument of his actions. A Machiavellian politician is one who doesn't know what the honor of the given word signifies. en_US
