dc.description.abstract The contribution of Moldavian theoretical physicists to the development of the theory of superconductivity in systems with many energy bands and the application of this theory to the description of experimental results on thermodynamic, magnetic and kinetic properties of newly discovered high-Tc anisotropic compounds such as Fe-pnictides and Fe-chalcogenides, intermetallic compound MgB2, oxide ceramics is presented in this communication. In order to describe the properties of real superconductors, which are anisotropic systems, a many-band model which would be able for taking into account the anisotropic character of superconducting systems is needed. Assuming that the Cooper pairs of electrons are formed within energy band and their transition as a whole from one band to another, the group headed by Prof. Maria E. Palistrant has developed researches on the thermodynamic and electromagnetic properties of many-band superconductors. en_US
